SANI TRAYODASI
Sani Trayodasi is a highly auspicious occasion dedicated to Lord Shani Bhagavan, the divine ruler of Saturn and one of the Navagrahas in Hindu tradition. Devotees worship Lord Shani seeking protection, peace, longevity, health, and relief from hardships.
At Sri Venkateswara Temple, special Navagraha Abhishekam and Thailabhishekam are performed with devotion during the sacred Sani Trayodasi observance.
About SANI TRAYODASI
Sani Bhagavan, also known as Shani Deva, Shaneeswara, or Saneeshvaran, is considered one of the most influential Navagrahas in Hindu astrology. According to the Puranas, Lord Shani is the son of Surya Bhagavan (Sun God) and is associated with discipline, karma, justice, patience, and spiritual growth.
Sani Trayodasi occurs when Trayodasi falls on a Saturday and is considered especially auspicious for worshipping Lord Shani. Krishna Paksha Sani Trayodasi, observed during the waning moon phase, is believed to be even more spiritually significant.
Devotees pray to Lord Shani for relief from difficulties, improved health, peace of mind, career stability, longevity, and protection from negative planetary influences.
